A Personal Note from Andrew Troyer
As 2025 has come to a close, I find myself filled with deep gratitude for the yachting industry and the incredible people who make it special. At Troyer Yachts, we have the privilege of helping clients create lifelong memories on the water, and we’ve been fortunate to connect with remarkable individuals year after year.
A Year of Growth
This year tested us with tremendous growth, stretching our capabilities in new ways. We experienced a few challenges along the way, but we quickly identified and addressed them, emerging stronger. A major highlight has been my wife, Beth Troyer, stepping deeper into the business. As our children grow older, Beth has been able to fully commit, making a profound impact on our operations and success.
I’m incredibly thankful for our dedicated closing team, lenders, attorneys, surveyors, and everyone in our extended circle who contributed to another successful year. While we celebrated standout listings and sales, 2025 ended on a high note of positivity and excitement as we look ahead to 2026.
Building a Family-Like Team
People are at the heart of everything we do. We began 2025 with a clear mission: to cultivate a supportive, family-oriented team far removed from high-pressure sales environments. We prioritize mentorship and guidance, drawing on nearly 30 years of sales experience—including 20 years focused specifically on yacht transactions.
Team Expansion
Our team expanded with exceptional talent, all Florida-licensed, bonded, and trained through the Yacht Broker Institute. Here are some of our standout additions:

Brody Baker: With a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Management from Troy University, Brody brings specialized expertise in Cummins and Caterpillar marine engines, plus LVMH certification in luxury sales. He combines technical precision with a premium, client-first approach.
Peter Glahn: A Western Michigan University graduate and regular contributor to Boat International Magazine, Peter started as a dock attendant in Harbor Springs, Michigan, and rose to become a licensed superyacht captain with over 100,000 nautical miles. His extensive experience makes him an invaluable resource for yacht sales and lifelong client support.

Sean Swindle: Holding an MBA from Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business, Sean blends his passion for yachting with sharp business strategy and advanced expertise to provide unmatched service.
Whit Hathaway: A University of South Carolina graduate, Whit leverages his academic background and deep local knowledge to deliver outstanding results for clients in South Carolina and beyond.

A Memorable December and Strong Momentum
December was action-packed at Troyer Yachts, with several high-profile closings:
- The 2024 Princess Y95 “EXIT STRATEGY” (featuring an on-deck master)
- The 85’ Pacific Mariner “TRANQUILITY”
- The 65’ Fleming “BEE HAVEN” (our final sale of the year)
We’re carrying strong momentum into 2026, with two vessels already under contract and expected to close in Q1.
Exciting New Partnerships
2025 marked several new beginnings:
B-Craft Yachts
Over the summer, we connected with the father-son team behind B-Craft on beautiful Lake Como. We conducted sea trials on the impressive B-Craft Akoya and shared memorable dinners. This has evolved into a fantastic opportunity to represent and sell these innovative yachts in the USA.
Virtue Yachts
We’ve partnered with Polish producer Virtue Yachts, offering forward-thinking, affordably priced models designed by Guido De Groot. Their lineup includes the V10 Open, V10 Top, V10 Cabin, and the newly released V14—perfect for buyers seeking modern design and exceptional value.
New Build Superyacht Team
We’re excited to collaborate with Mauro Giamboi, Andrea Giamboi, and Perry Van Oosanen on a new line of superyachts ranging from 34m to 50m. Combining Italian design, world-class Dutch engineering, and top-tier shipyard construction, this project promises groundbreaking results.
Standout Listing: Westport 112 “LILA CUY”
We’re proud to serve as co-central listing agent for the Westport 112 “LILA CUY”. This 2006 beauty, originally launched as Angel Wings, has benefited from significant upgrades, including a stunning 2019 interior transformation by designer Chanel Coontz of Neosage.
The dated gold-and-yellow scheme was replaced with a serene indigo palette, enhanced woodwork, and soft finishes for a calming, sophisticated feel. The Day Head was refreshed with wave-inspired elements, and the aft bar and dining sideboard feature elegant Azul stone—blending heritage craftsmanship with modern luxury.
This iconic yacht remains a timeless masterpiece, ready for its next chapter.

Looking Ahead: 2026 Yacht Market Predictions
My crystal ball broke during the 2020 COVID era, but current indicators point to a strong 2026. Interest rates were cut multiple times in 2025, providing buyers with greater comfort for purchases. Most importantly, 100% bonus depreciation has been reinstated for qualifying business-use vessels (such as charter yachts), allowing owners to potentially write off the full cost in year one—creating substantial tax savings and likely boosting inventory turnover.
While new-build prices continue rising due to global increases in labor and materials, today’s market offers exceptional value. There may never be a better time to buy than right now.
Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to creating more unforgettable moments on the water in 2026—reach out if you’re considering a purchase, sale, or partnership. The best is yet to come!
