by Andrew Troyer of Troyer Yachts
“SIENNA”, is an 87’ Doggersbank Superyacht built by Kuipers Woudsend Shipyard in the Netherlands, first delivered in 1986, and whose elegant exterior and interior underwent in extensive custom refit by the experts at Vripack. The Doggersbank, built for exploration, has a refined style with a spacious and comfortable interior and is ready to cruise the open waters. She is an ideal vessel for exploring the coast of Maine or many other destinations. The story of “SIENNA” begins in the Netherlands where she was built by an American owner and christened “KATHLEEN”. After launch, she crossed the pond from the Netherlands to the United States where she was enjoyed extensively. Later she was sold to her second owner and renamed “SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY”.
It was in 2012 that she was sold to her third owner and renamed, “MINNOW”. This new owner decided to refresh her giving her a major refit that involved the qualified team at Vripack. The extensive refit took place in San Diego, California and included an award winning, custom interior that was designed, built, and installed by the original architect studio Vripack. The custom designed refit brought to life the classic beauty and style of the Doggersbank, with attention to smallest of details.
The superyacht accommodates up to eight (8) guests on board, and has crew accommodations for three (3) crew members including the captain. She drafts 1.85m (6’1”), a beam of 6.1m (20’) and a volume of 140 GT. She is powered by twin MAN diesel engines, which provides a cruise speed of 10 kn and top speed of 13 kn. The yacht carries 1,200 gallons of water and 6,880 gallons of fuel. She is offered by sale by Andrew Troyer of Troyer Yachts.
Over the years, the trawler yacht’s previous names were SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY, ENDURANCE, KATHLEEN, and MINNOW.
